Peccole Ranch is a relatively young neighborhood compared to many in the state and surrounding areas. It began construction in the 1980’s and most of that construction lasted over into the 1990’s. It was developed and headed by the Peccole family. One area of the neighborhood, known as the Queensridge area, didn’t begin construction until the late 90’s after the rest was completed.
The land was originally acquired in the 1940’s by Bill Peccole. Bill had a vision for the land early on and was able to see this vision actually be developed in front of his eyes before he died in 1999.
Today, the ranch is known for offering a variety of amenities and wealthy attractions. There is a first class school available, beautiful parks, specialty restaurants, and world-renowned hospitals.
For example, it has the Wellington and Frank Raines park. Both of these parks are absolutely beautiful and popular spots for tourists who travel through the area. It is also home to the Nevada Cancer Institute and the Mountainview Hospital. With so much to offer, it’s worth at least paying it a visit if you’re ever in the general area. You might just find yourself moving into the neighborhood.
